What the price includes
In this age of mass produced commercial products, you will own a unique and skilfully drawn one of a kind drawing of your pet⁄animal.
The completed drawing will be mounted and ready for framing. Please note the frame is not included. This applies to the UK only. For overseas etc., he drawing will be dispatched in a hard carboard tube.
UK Only
Add £30 for additional animal in portrait.
50% deposit required with order (Non-Returnable).
If within distance, the picture will be delivered personally and the balance will need to be paid.
Prior to a completed art work being posted, the balance must be paid in full.
All art work will be sent by Royal Mail “Special Delivery”.
The Process
Pet and horse portrait commissions are drawn from or based on photos. Depending on the distance, I can visit to take photos.
If the distance is too far, I can either use photos supplied by yourself. Or we can come to some agreement about travel costs.
My drawings are produced on Artist Quality paper.
The best photos are taken outside in natural daylight (not too bright or too dull), and no use of camera flash.
For instance, to get a sheen on a horses coat. The best times of the day are when the sun is on the horizon, so early morning or late afternoon.
I prefer to work from digital photos, the higher the pixels (resolution), the better.
One of the photos should be of the pose you want in the drawing.
The more photos you can supply, the better.
I will request extra photos if I do not feel that I can use the ones supplied to produce the portrait.
