Just horses

Maybe the ‘ultimate’ in the horse art genre, the horse just being a horse.

With just drawing the horse, un–tacked we can see and admire the grace, strength and beauty of the horse. To capture the muscle tone, the shimmer of the highlights, the curves and lines, the majesty and grace is my goal when committing the horse to paper in pencil.

This type of drawing also makes an ideal commission, although I would recommend one on an A3 or bigger size of paper. If done on any smaller, yes you would still get a beautiful drawing, but on larger paper, the power and strength can be portrayed better.
